Women and Entrepreneurship Development - Opportunities and Obstacles

OBJECTIVES OF THE BOOK To study the information related to socioeconomic status of the responded To analyses the viewed and aspirations on gender and entrepreneurship To analysis the business development society To study the opportunities and obstacles of women-owned business To study implication to overcome obstacles of owned business women. The present investigation was carried out in Tirupati rural and urban areas of Chittoor district of A.P. The total sample size is 50 women who have maintained own enterprises, to consider and to study the opportunities and obstacles. The purposive sampling procedure was followed in the selection of the respondents.

Prof.D.Usha Rani has been working as Director, Centre for Extension Studies and UGC Centre for Women's Studies, S.V.University, Tirupati. She has 33 years of Research and Teaching experience. She executed Major and Minor Research Projects on Various issues relating to women. Under her Supervision, 8 PhD's and 2 MPhil's were awarded.
